Request for support

 

We value projects that contribute to the quality of our society. We believe that there is a need for new bonds with nature, a colorful society and spiritual values.

Procedure

The core of your request should be a personal letter of the initiator. We do not use application forms (for students we have other guidelines). In your letter the following questions should be answered:
Who are the initiators of the project? Name, address, telephone number and, if available, email and website address. If a legal body is involved we would like to know the aims of the organization and the names of the board members.
What are the aims of the project and who will benefit from it?
How do you plan to reach your goal; who is going to do the work and in what way?
Financial information: Please send us an estimation of the costs. Also we would like to know the following: what will be the income; what are your own resources; did you require and receive financial help from other organizations and how much support do you require from the Iona Stichting?

Each application should carry the signature of the initiator(s) and, if a legal body is involved, should be signed by the treasurer as well.

Applications will be dealt with in our monthly board meetings. Look here for the data.

Only complete applications that have reached the office at least 14 days before the date of a board meeting can be put on the agenda.

Requests for support can be sent by email (iona@iona.nl, the attachment will not exceed 1 mb) or by post.

NB!

Because of the amount of applications we receive we do not send a confirmation of receipt. We will however try to inform you about our decision within two months.
