Endowment Funds

In the past the Iona Stichting did not support exploitation and building costs, because the aims of the foundation did not allow us to do so. We experienced however that in some cases structural support is necessary.

For these specific projects we organize a fundraising campaign and start an Endowment Fund. Out of these funds we can grant annual support to a specific goal.

An Endowment Fund receives a percentage of our yearly capital assets, pro rata the volume of the fund. If necessary the board can decide to eat into the savings of an Endowment Fund.
