2020 · €10.000,-

Digging, thinning flower buds, hoeing, mowing and feeding animals are some examples of work that is experienced as meditative and calming.

who are they?

In early 2019, Geesje’s picking garden will start plans to create a landscaped orchard with a wide variety of fruit trees and hazels in the Geestmerambacht recreational area. The idea arose from a deep desire to contribute to healthy care and a better environment by stimulating social awareness and involvement in food production.

aim

The realisation of a biodynamic fruit-picking garden where care and meaningful work for people with mental disabilities will form an essential part. The picking garden is also a place where scientific research in the field of anthroposophical agriculture & care can take place.
